Sabah Oh Sabah...

I was born in 1995... Yes, maybe I learned something about Sabah when I was in secondary school but I know that all those facts that I had read from the textbooks are not enough to make me a person who knows every single detail about Sabah...

Indeed, the scenario is very complicated... The reason is because, Sabah was not founded yesterday... It was created a century ago... Maybe, there are some of us who know the details... But, we don't know who they are and I don't think we will believe anybody for the time being... So, for now, nobody can make crappy statements...

This matter involved a lot of parties... Malaysia, Sulu Sultanate, British, Brunei Sultanate, etc... So, I don't think voices from one or two parties can solve this particular crisis... Besides, UN was also involved with Sabah and Sarawak during the formation of The Federation Of Malaysia...

The Pinoys will say that Sabah belongs to them and we Malaysians will fight back by saying that we developed Sabah and the Sabahans chose to be part of us... But, when someone is protecting his/her country, trust me, that person won't even think about countries like Japan, Germany, and Australia that are very rich and successful... He/She will continuously assuming that his/her homeland nation is the best in the world...

If you can't believe me, go to Youtube or any Online forums and look at how the Indonesians and Filipinos react to the fellow Malaysians... For them, their respective countries are better than Malaysia... Yes, I admit that Malaysia might not be the best in all aspects among the 3 countries... But, they have to accept the truth that Malaysia is better than their countries in many aspects... Competitiveness, Human Development, Innovation, and Infrastructure to name a few...

Actually along the 17 years I live in Malaysia, I've never experienced this kind of conflict involving a large amount of armies and police officers...  Actually, we are quite fortunate because the conflict does not spread to the other parts of Malaysia including the other parts of Sabah...

I read a statement by a Pinoy, he said that Malaysia will become less progressive because of this particular incident.... Frankly speaking, all of us are working and developing our beloved country as usual like nothing is happening... We can't change the fact that Malaysia is a 'Boleh' country... Haha... Anything can happen in Malaysia, but nothing will change our mentalities and our spirits... For you information, even though Lahad Datu is under crisis zone, but Peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak, and the other parts of Sabah are not affected at all...

Actually, the upcoming General Election could be the reason why Malaysia becoming less progressive... It is because a lot of investors will stop investing in Malaysia until they found out which political parties in Malaysia will be the next ruling party... But seriously, I'm quite sad after hearing political parties in Malaysia were accusing each other about the crisis in Lahad Datu, Sabah...

Yes... To form a government, Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat are rivals... But, about national security and sovereignty, every Malaysian must work together to solve the problems disregards political views... Seriousy...! I'm sad... Luckily, we were just dealing with a weak troop of army... What will happen if in the future a stronger militant is attacking us...?

However, I'm thankful because I'm living in such a peaceful country that always taking a good care of diplomatic relations with all of  the countries around the world except Israel... For now, Malaysia doesn't have a solid enemy that really2 hates Malaysia... For Indonesians and Pinoys, I know that not all of them are hating us... Even their governments are having a very good relationship with Malaysian Government...

Even after watching a scary video showing one of our police officers being tortured by the members of Royal Sulu Army, I'll never look at they Pinoys as terrorist... Obviously, because they are not representing the whole population of the Philippines... If you watch the video, you will be traumatized... I can guarantee...!

Unfortunately, I don't have the video with me... You can look for the video by yourself...

All the best to our armies and police officers... I'll keep praying for all of you so that we can live together in a very peaceful and harmony condition as usual....

As a blogger, I read a lot of online news and blog-posts by the fellow Malaysian bloggers... As far as I'm concern, political war in Malaysia is much more dangerous as compared to the crisis in Lahad Datu... I know that the General Election is coming very2 soon... So, please choose your government wisely and think about the future of Malaysia...
