Blogging Has Changed My Life

There are about 7 billion human living together in this universe and we are having different perspectives towards our temporary life.
Each and every one of us wants to share our ideas and opinions to improve the current situation.

However, not all people around us are interested in what we are going to say.
Some of us love sports but there are also some of our friends that are not really interested in sports. Same goes to the other categories like politics, economics, religion, and the list goes on.

What should we do to voice out our points of view to the right person?
Yes! blogging. That is the best way.
The reason is because only those who are interested with the title will read the contents.
P/s I'm not going to share about gaining money by blogging in this particular post because I'm not an online marketer.

I've been blogging for the past four years and 2015 will be my fifth year of blogging.

What have I  learned so far by blogging?

Corrupted ASEAN?

Comprises of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

All of them except Thailand are very young with less than 100 years of independence.

It's not easy for each nation to handle the locals or countrymen who are really2 hungry of power. Something that they couldn't enjoy when the were controlled by the west.

Now, all of the countries in ASEAN are administrated by the local government. There are democratic and undemocratic nations in ASEAN but let's leave that behind.

Corruption. That's what I want to discuss right now.

From the lowest government servants to the ministers who are in-charge of their respective countries. And also the society that always think of bribery as a solution when dealing with the authority.

Some said that in ASEAN political arena, bribery is unavoidable? That's the reason why most of the ASEAN countries scored really bad in Corruption Perception Index, methinks.
Everything has its own solution, please don't tell me it's unavoidable.

Sleeping In The Airport

There are punctual people who arrived at the airport three hours prior to scheduled flight time.
There are also people who want to save their travelling budget by taking indirect flight to travel overseas. Or in other other word, transit flight.
P/s Direct flight is much more expensive and not all destinations have direct flight from our initial location.

Waiting for a very long period can be really tiring.
The travelers need to have proper places or spaces to sleep or taking a nap.

However, not all airports around the world can provide such hospitality to the passengers.
Of course, most airports are surrounded by airport hotel. But not all passengers willing to spend extra bucks after spending on flight ticket for hundreds or even thousands of dollars.

Actually, the purpose of my post this time is to share the ten best airports in the world to sleep.
sleepinginaiports.net will send an email about this to those who have subscribed to their website and voted for the best & worst airports to sleep in.
Since they sent me the email, so I feel incomplete if not sharing the verdict in my blog.

So, here are the 10 Best Airports in 2014.

Sains Komputer, Bidang Masa Hadapan

Persepsi masyarakat, nak buat macam mana.

How Peaceful Is ASEAN?

What is ASEAN?
ASEAN is an abbreviation of Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Currently there are 10 active members of ASEAN.

Since ASEAN is one of the highest growth region in the world in terms of Economics, a lot of foreigners love to visit this splendid region. Either investors or tourists, both are really interested to experience the uniqueness of this fantabulous region.

But, how peaceful is this region?

So now, I'm going the share the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2014 of ASEAN released by Institute of Economics & Peace through Vision of Humanity a couple of weeks ago.
162 countries around the world were evaluated in the ranking.
However, Brunei is excluded in the ranking. I'm not really sure why.

Ranking Universiti Malaysia 2014

Pengetahuan, keyakinan diri, sifat kepimpinan, kemahiran berkomunikasi semuanya datang atas usaha kita sendiri; jadi ranking universiti tak dapatlah tolong.

Cities Of Malaysia

Actually, there are a lot of towns in Malaysia. In Selangor itself, we have Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Kajang, Klang, and many more.  However, not all of those towns are considered as city. City refers to developed town.

Until today, there are 12 cities in Malaysia. Sadly, there are four capitals that are not fully developed which are Seremban, Negeri Sembilan; Kuantan, Pahang; Kangar, Perlis; and Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

Usually, when a town gets a city status, the municipality will change its name to city council.
For instance, previous Majlis Perbandaran Petaling Jaya (MPPJ) now known as Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ). All cities use the same term except Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL).

So, below are 12 cities of Malaysia [ordered by date of establishment]

1)George Town, Penang (1 January 1957; current status disputed)
George Town is the capital of the state of Penang in Malaysia. Named after Britain's King George III, George Town is located on the north-east corner of Penang Island. The inner city has a population of 720,202 and the metropolitan area known as George Town Conurbation which consists of Penang Island, Seberang Prai, Sungai Petani and Kulim has a combined population of 2,251,042; making it the second largest metropolitan area in Malaysia.

The inner city of George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Pusat Asasi UIA (Part 2)

Part 1

I'm going to continue sharing more  information about CFS IIUM to those who are interested to join this institution.  This is  a continuation from my previous post over here. Previously I've shared about campus and mahallah of CFS.

This time, I'm going to share about programmes offered in CFS and duration for foundation studies before pursuing your bachelor's degree.

Programmes

CFS IIUM is the only public pre-university that offers a wide range of studies.

Matriculation by Ministry of Education (MoE) offers 3 courses only which are sciences, accounts, and technical. Of course you can choose whether to do pure science or physical science, but that's it.

Foundation in UM, UiTM, UPM, and USM consist of only several fields like biological/physical sciences, laws, engineering, and build environment.

But in CFS, the programmes cover almost all fields of education.

I'll categorize the programmes based on the campus for bachelor's degree, either Gombak or Kuantan.

Pusat Asasi UIA (Part 1)

I've been in Pusat Asasi UIA or Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM for one year. So, I think this is a perfect time for me to share a little bit about this institution or abbreviates as CFS among the students.

Campus

For CFS, currently there are 3 campuses. Yes it's quite confusing but please bare it for the next couple of years.

Now the main campus for CFS is Petaling Jaya. The campus is the origin of IIUM or UIA. So, the buildings are quite old and the mahallah are not as good as the other campuses.

The two other campuses are Gombak, Selangor and Gambang, Pahang.

As most of us know, Gombak is the main campus of UIA. Most of the students over there are undergraduate and postgraduates students.
We can also call it as our HQ since most of the top managements are there in Gombak including the President of UIA.

Thanks For Everything LCCT

Crowded, Dirty, Nothing close like an airport.
That is Kuala Lumpur International Aiport - Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (KLIA-LCCT) to me.

Tan Sri Tony Fernandes, the co-founder of Air Asia suggested that we should have a designated low-cost terminal instead of using the main terminal of KLIA. So, Malaysia Airport Holding Berhad (MAHB) opened KLIA-LCCT for that purpose.

But it is so congested since low-cost carrier (LCC) has become very significant to the society.

Every year I'll travel by air to Kota Bharu, Kelantan and yes I love travelling, I've set my target at least one vacation each year.

So sometimes, I'll  travel with Air Asia and this particular LCC operates in KLIA-LCCT which is an uncomfortable terminal for me.

However, for the past few years KLIA2, the largest LCC terminal was planned and it was launched on 2nd May 2014.

Warisan Merdeka Tower Proposed Design

Menara Warisan Merdeka has begun its foundation work by Pintaras Jaya Bhd. The project owned by PNB Merdeka Ventures, a subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad(PNB) is going to be the tallest building in Malaysia surpassing Petronas Twin Tower with more than 500 metres tall and 118 floors. The tower is remained at its initial proposed location which is near Stadium Merdeka and Stadium Negara.

The work on the foundation of the building will take around 1 year to complete according to Pintaras Jaya. The building itself will complete in the next 3 to 4 years. Other than Menara Warisan Merdeka, the project comprises a mall, public park, and hotel.

So, here are the proposed design of the future tallest building in Malaysia.

Top 10 Schools in KL for SPM 2013

Just to spend my free time this friday evening, I would like to share the top 10 schools in Kuala Lumpur for SPM 2013. The result was out a couple of weeks ago but I just received the info regarding this.

Basically, each school will be ranked based on school average grade or gred purata sekolah(gps). For gps, the lower the grade, the better the result. Gps shows the overall performance of each school. No candidate and no subject is left out in the calculation.

So, in order to achieve lower school average grade, the school must ensure all students perform well in all subjects. Teachers must not only focus on the top students but also the weak students in order to be a high performance school.

Below are the top 10 schools in Kuala Lumpur for SPM 2013. Parents who wish to admit their children to the schools around KL, you may consider either one of these schools. :)

China Boycott Malaysia

The latest incident involving Malaysia Airlines MH370 had caused a lot of problems to Malaysia. A lot of bad news regarding Malaysia and Malaysia Airlines were reported by the medias around the world. However, the implication that concerns me the most is they (China national) started to hate Malaysia. Everybody knows that majority of the passengers were China national and of course they were concerned about the safety of their fellow countrymen on board.

I've been to China before, and I was so proud for being Malaysian when I was there. The reason is because most of the people over there recognize us, Malaysians. When looking at us, they started to ask, "Malaysia?", then we nodded. When I was on the flight back to Kuala Lumpur, most of the passengers were China national. They came to visit Malaysia.

But now, they intend to boycott Malaysia. Yes, they can insult and mock us. But first, read this:

Are we(China) too reckless instigate a boycott on this country(Malaysia)? Lets don’t talk about boycott just yet, we cannot even boycott the Japanese effectively, for them who massacred hundreds of millions of our countrymen, and those Vietnamese and Indonesian who killed hundred of thousand of Chinese, why don’t I see any Artist boycotting them? (Chinese artist joined the condemns and boycott against Malaysia)

Lesen Kereta Di Malaysia

Takpe2, saya pon sama dulu. Tak jelas. Jenuh search nak tau cara2 yg paling mudah nak dapat lesen. Ye, biasa la. Tak sabar nak bawak kereta kan. Mesti nak tau cara yg cepat dan mudah.

Mula2 korang boleh survey mana2 akademi memandu yg korang suka. Saya cadangkan Metro Driving Academy. Memang terbaeek! Tapi kalau korang bukan duduk sekitar Lembah Klang jangan pulak cari Metro nih. Memang tak jumpa la. hehe. Cari je la mana2 akademi memandu yg korang suka and dekat dengan tempat tinggal korang. Survey website institut2 memandu yg telah korang kenal pasti. Sebenarnya, cara yg paling senang korang nak dapatkan lesen kereta ialah dengan mengunakan ejen. Ataupun kalau korang kenal mana2 cikgu memandu lg bagus. So, korang bolehla mintak tolong family korang tu uruskan semuanya.
Tapi saya guna ejen. Ejen ni akan uruskan segala2nya. Transport semua ditanggung beres.
