I just came back from a camp in Penang but I haven't post anything about this interesting and historical destination yet. So, for those who wants to visit Malaysia you should consider the state of Penang which is located in the northern part of Penisular Malaysia. It easily accessible via North-South Expressway, KTM Intercity, and you can also take a 45 minutes flight from KLIA.

Below are some interesting facts about Penang that i got from Wikipedia.

Penang is a state in Malaysia and the name of its constituent island, located on the northwest coast of Peninsular Malaysia by the Strait of Malacca. It is bordered by Kedah in the north and east, and Perak in the south. Penang is the second smallest Malaysian state in area after Perlis, and the eighth most populous. It is composed of two partsPenang Island, where the seat of government is, and Province Wellesley on the Malay Peninsula. Highly urbanised and industrialized Penang is one of the most developed and economically important states in the country, as well as a thriving tourist destination. Its heterogeneous population is highly diverse in ethnicity, culture, language, and confessions. A resident of Penang is colloquially known as a Penangite.

Kem Perdana KRS Peringkat Kebangsaan 2011...

i just came back from 6 days Kadet Remaja Sekolah national camp in Pusat Latihan Kokurikulum, Penang. Seriously, this was the best camp that I've ever went to.

From Jabatan Pelajaran Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur(JPWPKL), all 66 cadets and 6 teachers of Kuala Lumpur(KL) contingent took 2 buses to Penang. One bus was for the girl cadets and 3 teachers, while the the other bus was for the boy cadets and also 3 teachers.

KL contingent was stranded in Tapah for 3 hours because one of our buses broke down. In Penang, we arrived just before Sabah and Sarawak contingents. All contingents from Peninsular Malaysia arrived in the evening, but KL contingent was the only contingent from Peninsular Malaysia that arrived at night.

Our activities started on the second day. the activities were; craft camp, orienteering, outdoor street, first aid, gadgets construction, cultural offerings competition, and marching competition. Last Sunday, all cadets from all around Malaysia visited the beautiful island of Penang. We enjoyed our tour after four hectic days with a lot of activities.

Closing ceremony was held on the last day (Monday) and attended by Tun Dato' Seri Utama Abdul Rahman Abbas, Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the state of Penang.

Yesterday, we arrived at KL just on time. I'll never forget this camp forever and ever. Besides, this camp is the highest level that I've went to. **it's national level ok... dont play2...** I met a lot of friends from all around Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak.

Korean Movies

During this 2 weeks mid-term holiday, I watched two interesting korean movies. Because if not, I won't be sharing it. I think, two is enough for this holiday. If not, I'll not finish my homework and of course, I'll not study! Hahaha.

I'll continue watching more movies (not necessarily Korean) during the end-of-the-year holiday (Malaysia is not 4 season country. So, we don't have summer holiday. The longest school holiday is the end-of-the-year holiday-about 6 weeks). So, I've to wait until December! :(

I love to watch movie because sometimes we learn something from it. Be it about life, education, or anything relevant to me. Everything has its own pros and cons so that keep judging watching as an unbenificial activity. I love reading too, but so much reading makes me board. Watching movie is the alternative

okay... the 1st movie is My Sassy Girl... (for those who have not watch this movie... please do watch it... recommended...!)

2nd movie is A Millionaire's First Love... hmm... 'dont judge a book by its cover'... same goes to this movie... dont judge this movie by its poster... (sad ending... T_T dont trust me? watch it...!)

China's Got Talent 2011 12yr-old Mongolian boy...

Before this, I've shared about Jack Vidgen from Australia's Got Talent 2011.

Now, i want to share about 12 year old Mongolian boy from China's Got Talent 2011. He is singing 'mother in the dream' in the video His voice is great and touched all hearts inside the hall and also people who watched this video. Besides his voice, his own story also made everybody felt very sad.

here is the description written by the youtube user who uploaded this video:

A 12-year-old Mongolian boy- Uudam (乌达木 Wudamu in Chinese) who lost his parents at the age of 8 in a road accident singing the song-"Mother in the Dream" (梦中的额吉) to his mother at heaven. He seldom talk about his story but when he miss his mother, he will sing this song. Besides, he always dream about his mother, sitting beside him.

The song is in Mongolian, therefore, not everyone can understand the lyrics. However, his singing touched every judges and audiences in the hall without the understanding of the lyrics. He sang out all his love and though to his mother.

A touching song, performed by a boy who got a sad story behind, a voice comes from far Mongolia sending his though to his mother at heaven. A great performance by a 12-year-old boy! He got an interesting and beautiful dream which is to invent a kind of ink that just need a drop to drop on the ground, the whole world will cover with green grass. one more thing to add, his mother wished to see his singing on the stage when she was alive.
